Oh god, that Romulan theory is so bad it almost has to be true...

Polar Lights 1/350 Klingon K'Tinga Battlecruiser

Fantastic work! This is easily the best I've seen this kit look.

New GB proton pack, trap, goggles, PKE by....Rubies??

Looks like they're the Spirit Halloween items, they've been around for a while now. There's a lot more on their website; https://www.spirithalloween.com/thumbnail/tv-movies-gaming/movies/ghostbusters/pc/1382/c/3810/1471.uts

    My Ghostbusters 35th Anniversary Builds

Thank everyone! Most of the parts I got second hand from a single Ebay auction lot. I couldn't tell for certain their origin, I know they aren't from any of the current crafters out there. The auction lot was one of those dream scenarios where you have half a jigsaw puzzle with randomly...

    My Ghostbusters 35th Anniversary Builds

Earlier in the year I decided to put together a set of legacy props from Ghostbusters (by 'legacy' I mean I'm absolutely not going to sell them this time, nope nope nope nope nope). In actuality the reason I got fired up at the time wasn't because it was the 35th anniversary of the film, but...

    Wand Company Phaser Discontinued???

They just came out with the rock/phaser thing a few months ago, I doubt it's a licensing issue. Things like this just don't stay in production forever.

    Round2 Producing a 1/350 Star Trek TMP K'Tinga

Kronos One had a moderate amount of physical detail added/changed all over the ship (in addition to the photoetch). The warp engines were lengthened and lit. They also cut out portions of the front vents on the... wings? And added recessed detail similar to the rear. Here's a nice collection...

    Round2 Producing a 1/350 Star Trek TMP K'Tinga

I think people might just be overpaying for their kits? I bought the lighting kit for $60 on cultTVman. That's basically $30 for the photoetch (which is designed to work with the lights so no, they shouldn't sell it separately) and $30 for a basic lighting kit. That's not only reasonable...

Guardian of Forever Visual Effects Miniature

Um, that's fudging fantastic. The halloween light works amazingly well. Is this a personal project or is it part of a fan film? I'm guessing you're shooting video because of the lights, but would your setup allow for stop motion?

    "MEK substitute"??

Weld-on #3 , or #4 if you want more working time; https://www.amazon.com/Weld-Acrylic-Plastic-Cement-Applicator/dp/B0149IG548 It's not usually as cheap as that gallon of MEK (but it can be if you find a good deal), but it's still much cheaper than hobby shop options and this is still...

    1989 batman help

The '89 Batmobile was painted in multiple iridescent shades to give it a bug-like appearance. You can see a lot of green, some blues and purples. It's a subtle effect and I've never really seen anyone recreate it. They painted it gloss black for 'Returns.

    Paints for Bandai kits ?

I've used duplicolor lacquer primer on several Bandai Star Wars kits, it works just fine. Their plastic is the same as anyone else's...

Moebius Models 1:350 U.S.S. Franklin WIP Thread

All of the licensed products and the production artwork for the film show it as it is on the model kit. More reference is needed.

Star Trek Discovery Phaser toy by McFarlane shown at Toyfair

Let's hope this is just that start of a vast new "Trek Tek" line. DST sold out of every item they ever produced for that and yet somehow it still took them years to bring each item to market and they've seemingly just stopped all together.

    Anovos Ghostbusters Proton Pack Kit

I think this thread is full of people who expect too much and complain even more. But... I was looking forward to the suit more than anything else, what with the fantastic costumes Anovos built their name on. Unfortunately this is some seriously mediocre ****. Not having the rip-stop fabric is...
