I dont know much about painting, but there is latex paint which doesnt crack even if you bend the painted object. You would probably need to give the belt a coat of that sort of paint (as a base colour) and then use a matte latex paint to give it a metallic look. At least thats the general...

By "flooring" i meant there is a surface going from the chin upward to the back of the cowl: but either way i suppose the cowl still counts as hollow Edit: Thanks sparrowfan!! That clears it up :)

Really? As I understood it has the effect of being hollow, but actually has "flooring" going upwards from the chin :confused :lol well i cant argue with that logic. shame your run is closed ;)

I see, thanks for advice. Ahha yeah I've considered getting the noble cowl but its not actually hollow. Either way I guess ill just have to wait for the urethane cowl I ordered to arrive and then maybe I wont need a solid version after all

Is there any way to make a solid (resin) cowl using a urethane rubber cowl? I want to have a cowl which wouldnt bend but be hollow at the same time. I purchased a urethane rubber cowl recently and if possible I want to make a hard resin copy of it which I would then use for display. I dont...

That's great to hear. The heavier this belt is the better (makes it feel more real when holding imo). Are you gonna be using natural earth magnets or something a little less powerful? Those magnets are killers!

Sorry if the answer is obvious but will the pieces be solid resin or hollow?

i think $300 was the rough estimate sated at some point earlier on this thread but it wont be a surprise if this belt will cost A LOT more

true, but id rather not temper with a belt worth $300 (more or less). maybe someone will make a run of metal strips :confused

would be nice if the metal strips were an option for this belt (for an additional fee)
