I just realized I never uploaded a pic! John Barrowman signed my original paper. Now it's home to the library card, as made by a fellow cosplayer who gave it to me at a con.

I've got four costumes on my list to get done for DragonCon: 21st Century Doctor Who Fangirl Bitch Planet inmate Star Trek Fangirl Tenth Doctor (Kimono) But first I need the space to work on them! Cleaning and organizing is so boooooring!

Wow, it's been a while since I've posted about this. I am still going with it. I'm just taking my time. I've bought needles to knit the sweater and about half of the yarn I'm going to need. I also created a pattern for the back that integrates the pattern that's on the back of Flynn's robes...

That would be one of the major reasons I have no interest in ever trying to go to SDCC. DCon forever! Anyway, I'm bringing 5 costumes again. But one is just for Dr. Horrible and the other is mostly for a photoshoot. Granted I still have to get that costume started... Stupid procrastination...

That's not a bad idea. It'd be interesting to figure out how to guide the paint to the right parts of the sweater without affecting the black.

I don't know. Not at first, at least. How would I work that into a sweater? I guess it would look interesting under the sweater, lighting up the design....

I've had an idea. What would The Dude look like if he suddenly found himself on the Grid in TRON: Legacy? I was specifically thinking of this outfit, complete with beverage. Here's what I'm thinking: T-shirt doesn't change. Change the color of the pants to black. Black socks under white...

My secret cosplay for Dragon*Con is coming along nicely. I finally have everything for it, so construction can begin. The Tenth Doctor's blue suit is just waiting for the money. I've got the fabric. I just need to overdye it, take my measurements, and send it off so it can become the suit...

I've decided to take the plunge. ;) Hopefully by the end of next month I will have dyed my fabric and it will look amazing! Then I can send it off to Barron Boutique and finally have the suit of my dreams!

Re: Full size Tardis Bookcase build! That is soooo awesome! I wish my hubby would let me build one. Although, when we get a place of our own, I will need a wardrobe to keep all my cosplays in. Hmm....

My plan is to use a basic kimono pattern for the kosode and hitoe and alter them as needed. AnneLiese has a really great guide on how to make them.
