I'm just starting into prop making, I'm making swords and weapons, but I want to make a helmet, I've been said that smooth-cast 300 is the resin to go, but where I live it is kind of hard to get smooth on products, so What about the polyester resin to cast a helmet??? any thoughts?

It is dupont automotive base paint it is a bit expensive but definitely is worth it
