I've created a droid restraining bolt on my mini lathe. I used aluminum round stock, a bolt and a threaded magnet on the back. Airbrushed black. The mini lathe did struggle with some maneuvers but it got the job done in the end. It didn't work on the Roomba vacuum robot...
