Yeah those comet kits are only good as a starting point for re-modelling. I did a kit of this ages ago.

Just discovered this. What a great thread. Just goes to show what's great about this group, the sharing of info to help each other out. It's a shame everyone's not so forthcoming with thier help/info.

Does anyone do (or would ) the decals for him. I've finished mine but las time I tried to make waterslides it went bad.

To be honest with you I can't exactly remember but I'm pretty sure it was off some bloke on eBay. But if you're not prepared to do a ton of modelling work to get it up to scratch I would leave it until a better one comes out or get a 3D print done.
