Hood's finally all sewn together! Currently working on the shoulder pads. As for the vest, I think we're gonna go with sewn-through baffles, but I'm not entirely sure...we'll find out tonight!

So I got a bunch of keys from an eBay auction and aesthetically, they look perfect for turning into deactivation keys. Functionality-wise, they're a bit different from the movie prop. The locks that came with my keys actually hold the key in the chamber while it's in the unlocked position...

6 days left until Dragoncon...I really hope I can finish this on time. All the fabric patterns have been cut out, now we gotta just assemble it all together and put the circuitry tape on it.
