Check places that sell Zentai suits, such as "Zentai Zentai". That's just one, and I never used it. Many will do custom orders based on your measurements.

What type of seam are you using? Two layers of 3mm may be too thick. Use abutted seam with zigzag stitch. Use a high tension.

You can also put strips of cloth on the backside. Sewing through the strips will reinforce the area to prevent the latex from ripping.

You could get something like this to put under a line layer of gauze material to get the effect of studded cloth for the top.

The higher the spandex count, the greater the stretch. Also look for 4way stretch fabric. When sewing use either a serger or a zigzag stitch. This will allow for the seams to stretch with the fabric. The heavy weight the spandex, the less see through it will be, but may be warmer. Also some...
