I think Paragon did a bang up job on their can, i did a little video on it
I think Paragaon used a real can? And that can definitely looks different on the inside
that's interesting that two of the batteries die. I don't think running it off batteries is the best solution, especially in a car. I would get a 12v power plug for a cigarette lighter or USB to power it in your car.
I know it says in the manual not to install it in a car, but they also said...
I started a new thread, hope no one minds, but thought this might be cleaner if anyone is interested in seeing a video review and walkthrough of the Factory Entertainment Flux Capacitor and a companion video with Steve from Valor Replicas here in the forum that made the prototype for Factory...
but is your lid loose? Mine is not even tough the latches don't pull much. And from what Steve said it didn't seem like the original Stahlin case e is like that either...
Yes, can confirm that the latches don't "pull" the lid shut. I spoke with Steve from Valor Replicas who designed this flux capacitor from Factory Entertainment and confirmed that his was done the same way.
I checked my volume knob and I suppose it is a little "loose", like I can pull it back...
true, but i think "past" is key here :) I was looking up the price for just the stahlin case and that goes for over $300, granted this does not appear to be a real stahlin case. But factor that in plus all the other parts and electronics the cost of this fully assembled doesn't seem that high...
Who else here ordered the Flux Capacitor from Factory Entertainment?
I just got it the other day and overall it's a really nice piece. Nice and heavy though the Stahlin case doesn't appear to be made out of metal it still feels nice and heavy and sturdy.
The LED lights for the flux capacitor...
yeah there is definintely a gap and step down between the amberlith and card and the lamination couldn't fill that in... This was just with soft even window light.
Probably didn't take the backing off this amberlith either then
I just received mine today. The amberlith feels thin and flat on the badge... But I never saw the first version up close. I see that the lamination has some room around the amberlith. But
I also went ahead and painted my disney version. I think it turned out alright. And I got a necklace from Etsy. And just learned in this thread that there are different version of the necklace...
I missed the 40 off because I took too long to decide and then I ordered it the other day before finding this thread and saw it sold out a day or two after.
Now I'm very curious to see what I end up getting... And now wondering how many they are making in total.
I saw they sold out the other day, but I just checked their site for something else and saw that the badges are now back in stock...

I ordered from Tedz and it took forever, but I did get it eventually. I think he had underestimated the amount of work it was. But it took a long long time. I ordered it may 2021 and received it early this year.
