Looking pretty close. All you have to do is feather the edges with a quarter round so the edge wont be as square and they will be identical. Well exept for the inward dip of the top edge, but you can't really see it in the movie since we never see them from above ,, I've got to start dabbling...

That's them!!! The plastic seems clearer that the originals I was given, The pair I had were marbled. Then again, for the movie I rebuilt them to fit the actor then molded them to make the multiples required to make the movie. The front remained unchanged.

From the image you had posted, The top looked flat, it was pretty small, my apologies. As for the junction piece, its to connect the two printed pieces, I guess? Is you printer not big enough? I'm not used to 3D printing, I'm old school, I still sculpt and machine all my props. lol

FYI, The top edge of the rubber insert isn't flat, it follows the curve of the glasses.What is the keystone detail you've added in the center above the nose?

In the movie, Its adhered to his face with ultra-thin double face tape.

It made it into the movie!!! it was almost a blur. Too bad it looked good. :)

1- The binders have a tiny lip above and below the glasses edge so that the glasses can lock into place for a snug fit. 2- there are actually 2 lenses in the glasses, the ruby red on the outside (custom) and a golden lens inside to reflect the light for the camera, pres fit into the binders.
