I did snag two with this in mind. I'm thinking about repainting/ rewiring the inside of one to leave displayed "naked" and weathering the coverings of that one. Then, depending on how I feel, I can display the other one next to the TPM version with the clean or weathered coverings by swapping...

Maybe I got lucky but I just washed my Delrin parts with soapy water and painted them with really light coats of rustoleum 2x flat black paint + primer and had no issues, still looks great but to be fair I’m really careful when I handle it.
