I would not use any powder for this, that is going to give a gigantic mess. Better off using some kind of adiabatic process (which would mean something like a CO2 fire extinguisher) or a smoke machine.
Just one question, have you ever worked with carbon fiber? Because it sounds like you think it will be as easy as the fiberglass piece, but it will not. Carbon parts aren't made that easy, and complex shapes are a whole new level as well.
And if you are going to paint it I don't see the use of...
I buy everything on eBay, it is way cheaper than all those shops. Try not to type in too much, if you need 3mm white leds just type in 3mm white led, if you need resistors just type in (xx)ohm resistor (with (xx) being the value of your resistor).
I would place them on the side or top of your indicator finger, you will be able to press the buttons with your thumb and still be able to grab things without all your electronics going crazy :lol
For your repulsors, I've seen someone build them with bending sensors, if their hand made a big...
Yeah, I love that image. Some people say that the arc is white when he is standby, and it turns red once he is in battle-mode (something like that). That is why I wanted to get both red and white LEDs in there.
I am making it to get into a suit, but my suit will not be finished very soon. I...
3D printing already is easy to do, shapeways works really well (I have not yet ordered anything but it looks really good, the site is easy to use too).
I would like to state that the blueprints aren't made by me, I found them online and all the credits go to the original makers. They're only a...
You meen the differences in color between the original Arc picture I posted and the second version (the one used in the MKII and Warmachine)? Or do you meen there is a difference in the colors of the outer ring and the middle part that lights up? If you could find a more High-res picture it...
So I uploaded everything to Shapeways to see how much 3D printing would cost me if I would not do it at my school (since Shapeways has way smoother printers), and while I looked over the scene where Pepper changes Tony's Arc I thought 2 things: 1: Printing will be really expensive this way, 2...
Well KS90 Red Dot Airsoft Electric Gun - KS90 LPEG AEG Airsoft Gun - AirSplat.com - AirSoft Gun Warehouse
30 dollars for a replica P90, and without the minimum order value restriction ;)
You could cut off the connector and just solder a case for 8 AA batteries onto the wires (with a switch in between ofcourse). Or you could get a female connector of that kind and solder that onto your battery pack.
Haha, I did read it, but I missed the codes.
Searching those codes on the duipli color website does not give me any hits though, but at least I can contact them and ask for the paint with that code, maybe they can even give me some RAL colorcodes because I don't think they sell in the...
Re: Wearable Ironman Ver.1 Arc Reactor (99% Movie Likeness/Hand Crafted/Found Item Bu
Looks good man, very accurate for a wearable arc reactor. some questions, how much LEDs did you use? And how do the wires run through it?
The pics should be visible now, they're in a public PhotoBucket folder now. The pics being invisible should explain why nobody was interested :rolleyes Kind of a stupid mistake from my end.
About the plug, I have been searching myself as well, and I found some DIN plugs which look like it...
Really? I hosted them in my public dropbox photo folder so they should be working. I'll try hosting them somewhere else.
EDIT: I've hosted them at photobucket now, they should be visible for everyone. Thanks for telling me the pics weren't visible.
