4 types of screen accurate Harry Potter and Ron letters

OMG I've been working on replicating these letters too for a long time (although I have only shared the process on the acceptance letter in this forum) and I just came across your post! Your work is amazing and very inspiring! It's beautiful to see all the attention to detail and the final...

    HP Font Database

Just like many other people have noted here, MinaLima don't always use fonts, so there is a chance that the same happens in this case. These numbers, however, were used by them also in the Gilderoy Lockhart's exam, and even though they might or might not be a font, they are definitely based on...

    Hogwarts acceptance letter

So I have finished page 2, and since the envelope is virtually ready, I just need to focus right now on the first page. First page is actually in an advanced stage, but with a different method to the one I used on page 2, so I might start from the beginning so both pages match perfectly! Just...

    Hogwarts acceptance letter

Thanks for asking and showing interest! To be totally honest that's something I haven't decided yet, of course I would like to make many of these letters and it would be great for other people to enjoy the letter as I will. However I am putting a lot of effort and time (plus money) in this...

    Hogwarts acceptance letter

Handwritting the letter is working way better than I thought, here is my first attempt, I think it looks good but probably after more practice it can look better. Apparently Mina writes the lowercase d different nowadays so I used the old d design that we see on screen in the Philosopher's...

Harry Potter free paper props - all movies and more!

I'm currently working in this wing (is that what it's called?) of the map, so I'll also be very glad if anyone shares a better quality/size of the wallpaper!

Maybe I'll use ink after all? I made a test and even though it was quick it kinda looks nice and very close to the letter handwritten by Mina, if I practice more it might look better.

    Foiling method used by MinaLima

Actually I just found a comment where MinaLima themselves say they use rub-down foil, at least we now know what system they use. However I cannot seem to find any rub-down foil or dry transfer (as it is also called) in my area, I found one or two in a differente country and is very expensive.

I attach a super big image of a premium print of the Fantastic Beasts book where you can see the texture of the foil.

    Foiling method used by MinaLima

Hello, I'm working on some Harry Potter props and the foiling always seems to be somewhat difficult, hot stamping is sometimes too expensive and reactive foil is not always an option depending on the surface you're trying to foil. MinaLima, the original designers for the Harry Potter films use...

Thanks for the info about the ink! I won't use ink on my final prop but knowing the exact one she used might help me with the color . Also consider showing your progress!

    My Harry Potter Treasure

Hello! The Fantastic Beasts book looks amazing! I am working on my own replica but I still have trouble resolving the foiling part, may I ask what exact foiling method is that? I'm asuming it'ss not hot stamping nor reactive foil. Thanks!
