Recasting in general is sad but this is especially sad...Nick has been one of the most respected sellers in the GB community for years.
His castings were always super clean, he took good care of his moulds making sure to replace them at the end of their life, he even did a lot of the cleanup...
If I can recall correctly, It doesn't include the frame because of a legal technicality that Anovos ran into where they had to sell the frame separately. Something about it being considered a proton pack "costume" if it's wearable, and some other companies that have the rights (Probably Spirit...
From the 2 cellphone videos I saw I think they are going in the right direction, looking forward to seeing higher quality pics that I'm sure will be popping up soon.
Whoever painted that thing did a fantastic job matching the screen used look and tone. That thrower looks super super nice for...

GotMaul: Thank you for finally addressing some of these issues and shedding some light on the prototype and information about the kit.
I know there's a lot of people in the GB community that are on the fence just because of lack of information.
Some more questions I personally have and I'm...
And this is why I never had interest in pre-ordering a proton pack kit lol. From misleading pre-order pics in March, to 6 months later with no kit pictures or part rundown, to this nonsense. No way in hell. "Shipping estimated to begin by November 2016" lol got my popcorn ready
Honestly it shouldn't be that difficult. The main electronics kit that the GB community uses today is solderless, and plug-n-play. The going prices right now is aout $50 for pack lights, $60 for thrower lights and about $60 for the sound card. They all plug into each other with ribbon cables.
I think it's misleading to people who don't know the prop well enough and they need to give more detailed information before taking money.
Here's why I think it's misleading:
The "Completed Prototype Kit. Subject to Change" photos they posted include a top of the line hero style full custom...
Re: That's a Graflex, right (Force Awakens teaser trailer #2)?
I live in Rochester, NY where they were made and it kills me knowing that there's probably a giant box of them sitting in some elderly person's attic somewhere
