Hey. I did, and posted it on a Facebook page and someone wanted to buy it. So it’s away. Got another printed ready to paint though.
Was a fun build, lots of lovely weathering. I ended up just freehanding it with a posca pen. Looked ok on the shelf.
I dont even know why Ridley Scott is involved, he had his ideas for the engineers, then when prometheus wasnt well received, he just scrapped that, and popped the alien in because 'that's what fans want'.

a model gerty is really high on my wishlist so as soon as i get to grips with my 3D printer this is getting printed.

that's incredible. Gerty is definitely high on my list of priorities when my 3d printer arrives. Would you be willing to share the more printer friendly files by any chance? i'd obviously only use them for personal use and not share them anywhere.

i think people confuse the stop motion rod puppet for CGI, because it looks bad, i think CGI has become a buzzword for bad effects :)
