Excellent...most excellent indeed! My wife is an assistant Manager at a Dollar Tree here in town, so now I'm gonna have to keep an eye out for materials to try this out!
It not that, it's the fact the mace and it's wielder was created by an artist working for a certain comicbook company ( which I won't name so as to go with the care being taken in NOT naming this weapon). If they were public domain, the Disney can rant all they want and nothing could be said...
A Noble Six pep helm I'm building for my oldest son as well as a few knives I've been working on. Unfortunately, living in an apartment has really put a damper on my bladesmithing . Best I can do now is take rough blades and fix them up. I miss my forge!
Re: What's Your Favorite Movie Sword
BTW...does anyone remeber the Plastic swords from Deathsport, the Whistlers? I remember back when I was 10 and saw the film for the first time and thought that they were really cool ( I'm soooooog glad I out grew THAT stage! )
Re: What's Your Favorite Movie Sword
I have 3: Connor MacLeod's Katana from Highlander ( I bought a copy of this yeeeeeeeears ago from the Noble Collection), Conan's Atlantean King's sword ( I have a really crappy copy of this I found several years back at a pawn shop, spent about $25 on it)...
Great work my friend! I've been a Thor fan for years and have always wanted to try my hand at creating a version of his hammer. The Hammer and Display both look awesome!
I've seen 4 or 5 different pep files for Shellhead myself and have yet to figure out which on I wanted to do...however, I've just started on work on a Hi-def Warmachine pep I found and I plan on using it to create a Guardsman suit.
