    1989 Joker

Yeah, Pretty much everything with that costume will have to be custom made. You'd be very lucky to find something similar off the rack. Lawrence

    loly2kn2 batfleck cowl review

Ahhh I'm so sorry it doesn't fit you! I've only had good experiences up to now with fitting. I tried the cowl on five friends and it fit three with no problems, the other two were solvable with a little sponge padding at the back. That neck issue is annoying, it could maybe be hidden if you...

Need advice on picking out a material for a Batman cape

Just go down to those stores and have a look at their plain black fabrics, ruffle a section at the top and see how it hangs then you can move it around to get an idea of the flow. Personally I think heavier fabrics work better as a lot of the lightweight ones seem to move as a whole sheet rather...

    NEW Batfleck Batman Cowl

Thanks! Yes I think so, I will probably be waiting for some more reference before committing to sculpting a suit. Although I don't really go out wearing suits any more so it would just be on display. Awesome! Thanks for the kind words.

    NEW Batfleck Batman Cowl

I know I should have waited for more reference to surface, but I'd just finished my new lifecast and wanted to try it out. It's made from PT Flex 60. Here are some pics of the first casting: Very happy with how it came out to be honest, it's the first cowl I've sculpted on my...

Re: Dye sub suit sewing services U.K. and Europe I have a printed suit that my machine doesn't like sewing, I was tempted to throw it away. If you're still looking for something then let me know as this could be the perfect opportunity!

Magneto Helmet: Days of Future Past

Thanks! There are a few frames of the trailer that show the back of the helmet. I think the original was made in two parts, as there is a prominent ridge and step that links to the back section.

Magneto Helmet: Days of Future Past

So I thought I'd have a go at making the new style Magneto helmet. Fairly happy with how it turned out. Sculpted from clay, then cast in fibreglass.

What resin can I get in the UK?

Stay well away from Halford's resin, it's terrible and overpriced. If you want to make rondo you will need polyester resin and car body filler, either ebay or Fibreglass Supplies | Silicone Moulding Rubber | Casting and Polyester Resins - mbfg.co.uk are the best bet. Lawrence

    Flexible auto paint?

Plasti-dip can give a nice finish, but it will all depend on the surface finish of the foam, if the foam is uneven and lumpy, the finish will always be uneven and lumpy.

    ReevzFx Batman Mask Fix!? Help!

I bought a cowl from Reevz a few years back which arrived with air bubbles and thin spots. I was disappointed as I was a student at the time and saved for a long time to buy it and it really should have been discarded by the maker as a 2nd or 3rd rate casting. Shawn stopped replying to my emails...
