Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them

Here are some bad photos I took at the Warner Brothers Studios outside London. Sorry. I wasn't really interested in Newt.

Harry Potter - Gryffindor dorm bed curtains

I made a small screen print pattern & tested it on this silk velvet. I think the original is a silk screen rather than embroidery. Since the silk fabric is $50 per yard, I've ordered some cheaper red polyester velvet to see how that looks.

Harry Potter - Gryffindor dorm bed curtains

Thanks for the suggestion of Spoonflower. I think they only print on white velvet, though. I added a small screen print pattern I had to my sample fabric. They might have used several larger screen prints, each containing quiet a few designs, to make the detailed animals and give the...

Harry Potter - Gryffindor dorm bed curtains

Looking at the original, the pattern does not seem to repeat. This makes me think the curtains are hand-stamped rather than manufactured. Anyway, here are some photos of my scrap of silk red/gold velvet using several types of stamps. The flash shows the gold "halo" in the fabric as in the...

Harry Potter - Gryffindor dorm bed curtains

I have ordered a scrap piece of red/gold velvet to play with. I'm wondering if it was possibly screen printed or maybe embossed. I'll post pics of what I come up with. Here is a photo I took of the curtains at the Warner Brothers Studio outside London. The pattern looks gold to me rather...

Here is a picture of the see-through invisibility cloak on display at the Warner Brothers Studios outside London now. I think the patterns might be the same as the original cloak.

    hogwarts trunk

You are much more accurate than I am! I just used the Microsoft Paint program to make it fit on a letter-sized gold sticky paper I ordered.

    hogwarts trunk

I modified the attached so that it was just black & white, and then printed on some sticky-backed gold paper for the trunk Hogwarts label.

    Fantastic Beasts - Queenie Goldstein

Wow, that coat looks like a lot of work, but it certainly paid off! It is truly a thing of beauty. And what a great husband to help out. The speakeasy dress is the first I've seen anyone attempt to do, and it looks great. I want one to show off!
