I was just thinking that this morning. if I made this all in foam, this design looks like it might get more stress from bending, so a hard base is a definite for this. Appreciate the advice, I'll look into those options.

I'm looking into building Batman's Rebirth look for my next Batsuit project. Besides the purple cape lining, it's probably my favorite comic Batsuit ever. I plan on using a DOJ-esque base and possibly a Justice League movie cowl. My specific thread question here involves making the belt...

I still have to get some better pictures of the suit, and some parts are a little saggy after a long event at the zoo here, but overall very pleased with my first ever cosplay. Cowl and torso armor by Gauntlet FX, gauntlets by Dark Knight FX, the rest by me. Kids costumes are by me, they loved...

Add this to the long, long, long list of complaints I've seen regarding this person. Shame too because they look very talented. Buyer beware x100 there I guess.

Update: talked to a fellow Bat-fan on Facebook that said holding the brush too far away can cause a dust build up effect as the paint drys before it hits the armor. Finished sanding the armor and the first pass holding the airbrush closer seems to have fixed the issue.
