some of the super cheap ones seem to come with moisture traps now... but the missing tank may still be an issue. Depending on the pump used the airflow will pulse and that might be visible in the application of the paint.

The points where the pylons attach to the hull are really flimsy and weak. I 'tried' to build two of these back then, both suffered from the pylons breaking off... I would highly recommend adding some internal supports and really strong glue.

Hub-Motors have been around for a while. I would assume it's the way to go for a vehicle like yours. Every wheel can be driven individually, no complicated gears and transmissions needed and it's all electric.

Yeah. I should have, but I was so excited testing the oxidizing that I skimped on that part... well, anyways here's the final result. It will probably keep oxidizing for a and change over time.

I let it sit over night and now it's drying. You can see the oxide crystals blooming. Really cool effect.

Yeah those Hasbro AT-TEs can be expensive if complete. Thankfully there are some 3d files for replacement out there, so i could reprint some of it... Looking forward to the worm. :)

Today I 3D-printed the Nur-Ab-Sal Necklace from Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis Game. The file is from Thingiverse and though it's not "screen accurate" It's still a nice file. It's printed in Colorfabb's CopperFill filament which contains copper paricles and can be buffed and oxidizes...

Since I saw that episode I was thinking of making the same thing. Really nice. Gotta go check eBay for a walker now... ;)
