Difficult to see the differences, but I think the panel lines are more like the studio model.

The panel lines on this Tie Fighter are not smooth. They are uneven like real airplanes. This is what I did.

Thank you for your wonderful comment! A lego looking is probably the best expression to describe the bandai Star Wars models. There's too much structure in the bodies just for assembling. I didn't like a lot of parts inside of the fuselage so I made it hollow.

I tried to replicate a bandai X-Wing to Red Leader put up for Auction a few years ago. I opened holes and added smoke grey shield on the canopy. It's almost finished. I have to make a stand.

1/72 X-wing and A-wing.

There are some big holes. They don't light, but they are too big for windows.

I used 5mm LED lights but I used alminium tubes for the innner tube for the engines. I think the alminium tubes reflect and spread LED lights nicely.
