Embarrassing how long this has taken me but at least I'm nearing the finish line. Base complete and wired. Only have the gold to paint and it's time to assemble.

Now that I have the time to finally finish this project, I started work again on the base. Redesigned to be a little more simple. Also wanted a place for the LED spotlights. I printed the corner parts with room for spotlights on all four corners, used some pvc and printed rings for details too...

OR... In Gimp save out the layers separately and bring them into Photoshop one at a time. The PSB is huge but I left as much in there as possible for folks to tweak as needed. Cheers!

O-rings fit pretty well. I'll replace the current valve models shortly.

I just ordered some 30mm OD 2mm thick O-rings from NewEgg.com. I slightly modified the valves to accommodate. I also modeled up some valve backers similar to what you did. Test printing everything now to see how they work.

No. I think I actually learned a bit about machines though... I found that the one I currently have can do all I needed. I had no idea I could double stitch with my machine, and sure enough, I CAN! I thought I needed a special machine for double stitching, and seeing Mr. Nagata using a Brother...
