Next, I worked on creating the camera-box assembly and integrating the mask into the helmet, as well as finishing the coat and fore-arm armor. I used pepakura designer to get a stencil of the pieces of the camera box to cut out of 1/8th inch acrylic. Once I had them cut out, I used heat to bend...

Finally got the helmet, and took a few pictures to see how it would look. I feel that this helmet is the perfect one for the job (the mask is a little wide, but otherwise it would be spot on) with just a little bit of painting to make it match. Now I just have the camera on the side of the mask...

That definitely looks intriguing to make. I should be capable of making the base form, but I would require someone else to do the etching accurately, as it would be difficult to do in CAD (at least on the circular parts). I am actually looking to make a business out of doing this kind of stuff...

Just a quick update: Now that I have some money to work with, I ordered a Fallshirmjager (German Paratrooper) helmet to use for the helmet in the costume. It seems to mesh a little better with the suit in terms of accuracy and look, plus there is no work that has to be done on it besides...

Actually, I am a high school senior. I am not currently employed at a company that deals with this kind of thing, I am just an enthusiast. However, I plan to pursue something in this area in college and plan to continue CAD modeling. Thanks :)

I am not quite sure what the specs of the 3D printer are, due to the fact it is on loan and I am not the one that ordered it. WHen I find out (when it gets here), I will post the specs for it.
