Thank you, Frank. I couldn't have done it without your reference photos. They were a great help when I was trying to scale this helmet.

Here's the final piece. Only thing left to make are the ribbon things that hang down the sides. I had hoped to have this posted some time ago but to many things getting in the way.

Here it is with all its colors on before the weathering.

Castings mocked up. Fans made of eva and craft foam so if they get bumped, no damage.

It's only been 5 years since I started this so I figured I should wrap it up. Clay sculpture of the Horus head, it may be a little big but oh well.

I've used naptha and an old tooth brush to clean clay out of an epoxy mold. Odourless mineral spirits works too. For future projects though, use Frekote Lifft (by Loctite) as a release. There won't be any clay left in the mold. I couldn't believe it the first time I used it.

WOW! This is incredible. Great details, the gills, skin texture, the fins even the expression. Just awesome! Any ideas on what kind of paint scheme for it? Thanks for sharing this.

I really like the colour scheme of the original movie Horus helmets so hopefully I can replicate that.
