Hey Cammeron
Hey Cameron, I just thought of something else about these tux pants, are they built like the old frontier pants where they come up to your bellybutton or do they sit on your hips like regular pants? If they sit on the hip they are not going to look quite right.
I also made a mistake on the place where I bought these pants (that I never got), as I thought it was River Junction but in reality, it is the Old Trading Post as I just went back through some old emails. Sorry about that to all and especially River Junction.
Those are very cool looking pants, but I don't think they have the front pocket like Doc's which makes it hard to carry the Colt Lightning in the pants (although Doc does keep his Lightning in his upper right vest pocket at times).
I bought a pair of these pants from River Junction, and I never got them. They told me they moved to a new location and somehow someway my pants disappeared into thin air. I did get a refund, but it took me awhile to get it as I was the one who had to keep asking where my order was. Just proceed...
Jason, your wardrobe is looking AWESOME! keep up the good work and don't ever stop trying to be the best :) Also, thank you for buying from my company, and I am happy to hear you like our product
Welcome to the BEST thread on the RPF obrotherracing :) Cameron1138 is correct, the color of the diamond is either white or gray/silver. I am planning on taking a trip here this summer to look at the original vest so I should have a definite answer on this color here pretty soon. As for shirts...
My Inverness/Ulster Coat/Cloak
Here are photos of my cloak from the inside out look. As you will notice there are no sleeves, just two big holes on each stride of the cloak to stick your arms through. This is how I am going to build my Doc Holliday cloak when I find some fabric
If you look at the photo I just posted, look at the right side of the cloak (our left) and you will notice an optical illusion of the cloak having a sleeve as it looks like one is poking out at the bottom of the cape. I think this can be said the same for the photo of the Original Cloak Photo as...
I will take some more in-depth photos of the cloak I have as it doesn't have sleeves. I just don't really see the point in having any sleeves on this cloak as I have mentioned before, I'm not even sure Val's cloak had them. I can also say with pretty good certainty that Doc's coat under the cape...
Okay, here is my observation on this. What you are referring to as the sleeve is actually the backside of the cape as it has a sheen to it matching the lining of the entire cloak. If it were a sleeve, one would assume it would be made of the same fabric as the cloak. To me this looks like the...
The Doc Holliday Inverness/Ulster Coat/Cloak...........................................
I figured I would go into the detail about this cloak that Doc wears to the O.K. Corral. After searching the internet for a pattern to make this cloak I came across an old pattern made by Butterrick (3993)...
We think there is somewhere close to 12 yards in this cloak. Now there are some ways you can save on some fabric which I will do a post on as it all determines on how you want to build/make it.
