I'm also printing out a new skull mask. I still have the latex mask but I think it would be cool to have a rigid articulated skull mask. I'll see how it turns out.
I'm doing some more work on this costume. Making a new staff with a 3D printed ram skull I'll post pics when it's done. The final piece is printing now.
Now that I have the actual statue I'm going to make some adjustments to my costume as well. Will be taking it to SDCC again this year!
Great job! I tried this costume a while ago and had the same nightmares about the shoulder armor. You've inspired me to try again. I have some Worbla laying around.

Do3d sent me new finger files as the ones that came with the mk7 were totally wrong as well.
Now I just need to work out scaling. I printed out the devildog hand files and they are a tad too big. I don't want to waste anymore filament until I work out how to either scan myself or measure and...

I thought I was out. But now I've been pulled back in...
I made an EVA foam Iron Man Mk VI a few years ago. I thought I was done with Iron Man. But then I got this...
So now I bought a model of the Mk VII from http://www.do3d.com/. After much trial and error with various test files, I...
Heat wasn't bad at all. Luckily it cooled down that day and inside I was fine. My biggest problem was my chest harness was slipping back. You can see how the chest piece is too high in the photos. I need to remake that. Oh and when packing up to head home, my staff fell and the ram skull...
