I wouldn't weather this, Erv. Storm Trooper armor is clean and spotless, their weapons should be pristine, too. Only weather it if it is supposed to belong to a Sand Trooper.

I'm curious as to whether you tested the foam before you sprayed it on the door. It looks kinda cool, but there's definitely too much foam over the lights. :confused

That looks like a fan built saber built around a tube, not a Graflex flash handle that comes apart in the middle under the clamp. Though decent looking, I see a lot of inaccuracies in it. Edit: Wow, I thought mine would be the first reply. :p And I just noticed how off the grip material...

I've seen a discussion about making one of these. I can't remember if it was here, or somewhere else. It would be kind of impossible to make the lid do what you see it doing in both drawings with the same design.

I thought they were blue because they have a protective, peel-off film on them to prevent scratches, like how a lot of display faces of consumer products are packaged.
