That side piece does look like a sewing machine part. The curved metal piece that comes out, could be used to line up thread from bobbins maybe, as stated earlier!

Well, I was thinking about Crybaby Tunnel. It's kinda a urban myth, in the U.S. Anyway. I could write it in maybe a 1940's or 1950's time frame, with the over the top kinda way about it.

Well, since I have not used a printer in my own home ( really nice printer at my old job, made some nice Fifth Element, and Blade Runner paper props! ) in probably 15 years, I think I'm going to have to buy one! But it's worth it!
