I really appreciate the input. A little lower than I had hoped but not far off, I was thinking between 3-400. I'm guessing I could probably get a tad more on eBay but that brings the associated risks. May just be worth the lesser value on here but knowing I wont get screwed over.

Im not sure what kind it is, it is this stuff: eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace I have never cast anything before so just tried this as it was cheap. Ill try some talc on the mold and see if that helps.

I have been trying to make a cast of some small pieces but the finer details are not coming out. I think it may be because the resin is too thick and so isnt getting into all the detail in the mould. Can the resin be thinned in any way? Can I just use water or is there any special thinner I need?

Any ideas where to get this in the UK? The prices on ebay are ridiculous.

I managed to take a couple of good pictures. As I have already said this thing is 1cm wide/long and about 0.5cm thick.
