I used the angelus leather acrylic. I'm going to wait and see how they wear and hold up before doing any touch up or weathering. Thanks for the reply.

ICoker I I followed your instruction manual with some exceptions in paint and finish but i think it went well. Thank you! I love how they turned out. I did add the thicker soles, too.

I recommend you keep searching. Places like ebay and poshmark are great places to search. It took me a loooonnnng time to find those loafers in my size but I finally did! They came in a dark brown but I deglazed, sanded, and painted them to look like those in the film. Good luck!
