    Animatronic IG-11

Amazing job! A lot more advanced than what was used on set, even. What how tall will he be finished?

Knight of Ren helmet interpretation I'mwrappi g up for SDCC

I worked from the reference printed in the SWTFA book and with the person commissioning it for their costume. I kind of have a thing for hexagons and tend to work them into my props. I vaccuformed the shell from ABS. The mask is an aluminum mesh thats been covered in leather. The sort of 'fin'...

    Agent Carter's SSR Walkie Talkie

Nice! I remeber playing with that exact walkieon my desk while we were making rubber stunt copies for the show! I really hope season 3 gets picked up, one of my favorite shows to make props for! Its like a combo between period piece and future tech!

Frist look at Ghostbusters reboot proton pack

That was built for the pack, not off the shelf, assuming that's what you're asking. Although that's a casting, the master box was a faceted bent sheet metal box tube with welded caps, that recessed pocket, 3D printed handle and rivets on the front.

"Star Trek Beyond" props seen in charity contest video

I can tell you for a fact they did use those. It's not even cast (save for rubber versions). They painted them and applied a plotted vinyl decal. Source: made a bunch of props for ST:Beyond (but didn't make those). Edit: they might not even be painted, could be the lighting.

Fabricator of the "Spawncycle" from the 1997 film "Spawn"

Hah, if Paul Pearson doesn't know, no-one does! If you can hunt down Dragon Dronet, he may know. He'd have worked on Spawn with Paul around that time IIRC.

Daredevil - Cowl, Grapple Cane, Glasses & Walking Cane!

Very Cool! The cane was produced by Proper Effects/Studio Manufacturing Inc. under Paul Pearson, as I recall. I always loved the cane/baton from that movie. I've got one of the full length batons from the new Netflix series on my wall. I like the new one too, but for different reasons...

Who here has actually built stuff for the movies? SHOW and tell.

Hey, Chris Gilman! I'd heard quite a few stories about you. I worked for Paul Pearson for a few years, and am now at HPR Custom. Hope the Prop classes work out, that sounds cool!

    Into the Badlands

Great job! We made these where I work and I distinctly recall, at one point, 3 of our fabricators hunched over Dremels putting edges on the steel version we made. It looked so painstaking! The ones in her bandoleer in the first photo you posted are likely the aluminum ones, the one in your...

    Into The Badlands

I'm really glad to see Into the Badlands receiving good reviews as well. I made a few props for this show back in May and was immediately excited after seeing the concept artwork. The weapons and props (especially ones relating to that Azra city symbol) are so intricate. I particularly loved the...

    Morning Exercises - Arkham Batarang

I don't have a problem with taking them, I just typically don't because I don't like asking people to wait for me to have free time to do it. Now would be ideal, but in a few weeks when productions pick back up, I'll be lucky to see the light of day, much less take on commissions, lol!

    Morning Exercises - Arkham Batarang

Thank you robotboy! It was worth every penny. And I'll take that into consideration, mystery. Oddly enough, I was on the vfx team for the first one for almost 2 years. Had access to all of the models and concept art. Maybe I should have paid closer attention! Thanks!
