Lol, No secret. Being an art teacher and a believer in the RPF community it would be hypocritical for me to;). The one you see in the pictures was a print from Shapeways that had a bad off set so after cleaning it up with sandable primer I painted it up using Krylon SUPERMAXX flat black and...
That's correct. The cowl will be urethane rubber and this will show up in each casting. Even when I experiment with trying to make it into a helmet the sheen should show up.
Thanks for compliment, I try to make things that reflect what was originally seen as close as possible. Takes a little...
Not entirely sure. It would be reasonable. Probably be awhile before I get that far I tend to take my time as I do this more for the art, I'm not known for spitting things out.
The cowl for example is being molded tomorrow. Here are some pics of it.

Re: Arkham Knight Batman Cowl (3d Model)
I don't make pepakura files.
In regards to progress everything has been sent off to print. Everything should arrive around the 12th.

The Arkham Knight Bat Cowl will be sent off to the printer this week, in the meantime here are the final noticeable changes made to the cowl as well as a completely remade neck. Cowl has added detail to match the high res images shown.

Impressive start on this! You symmetry is very good as well. Have you started to use rakes to even up your surface? Its nice to see sculptors tackle work that was previously done digitally, it shows that we can still do it with out the aid of a computer.

Mitch over a Bity is a great guy. He runs a good business and is very knowledgeable about his products. I can also recommend US Composites for fiberglass supplies. They are located in Florida and offer a nice range of resins. Fiberglass , Epoxy , Composites, Carbon Fiber - U.S. Composites, Inc...
I've used only one kind of sulfur clay in the past and something I noticed when using an alcohol torch was that the sulfur would bead up into tiny little green balls. You might try that on a scrap piece of clay. If you're still not sure just seal the sculpture with krylon crystal clear. A few...
