Looks Great!!! ive often thought about doing the same, being a machinist with access to the shop at work. I would have done the "hammer" part with welded plate instead tho. great job man

Thanks for the tip Jax, ive heard Rhino is really good. I have been using Solidworks for a long time, this is just my furst time drawing something using the surface method. here is what i have so far.

To add to my current helmet collection, i have decided to 3D print a snow trooper helmet as it seems fairly easy to design with some reference. i will be printing the dome and making the face "sheet" probably out of some vinyl material. Pictures will be posted during the design / build process...
