Indeed!
Finally caught up with the thread after a long hiatus from the group; and while this discussion happened a little while ago, it made me think...
Like JediSeth observed, there was a period around the ‘70’s when shiny was good, and shinier was better. A lot of really nice vintage silver...
Same goes for Bitcoin, Dogecoin, rare actual real coins, most US stocks, US real estate in any large city, etc, etc. It’s asset inflation. I wish I could convince myself things will eventually relax back to sanity without an ugly, ugly crash...
I have been making (what may turn out to have been very costly) researches on this subject. Not sure what to think at this point.
But life, as per spec, has been getting in the way of extracurricular activities.
It’s still in the radar screen...
If by ’resistor’ you mean ‘transistor’ (and possibly even ’op amp’), I’d be a taker for the ‘Balance pipe female:’ at the lower extremis of that price range...
Not that I’m not thankful.

But, I think I’ll invest in a 100 drawer parts organizer or something so I can take...

Thanks beyond all imagining goes to KevinHotchkiss for his remarkable hunting skills, and to teecrooz for being such a good friend looking out for those of us in need. This was the last major vintage part I needed (unless a natural-born...
