    War Machine MK1 - 3d printed version

For me I've found that 1 outline and 10% infill is enough for most of my armour. Some of more decorative parts that serve no purpose have zero infill and the boots for WM have 30% and more base layers as they're going to support all of me and the armour. The chest and back have 2 outlines and 5%...

    War Machine MK1 - 3d printed version

Their newer stuff is a lot better. I’ve got the MK85 set ready to go and I’ve seen more than one person build that so you can see it’s possible. When I started i wasn’t the most skilled and I also made it too heavy. Now it’s my third set of printed armour, so I’ve learnt what I feel is the...

    War Machine MK1 - 3d printed version

So back in 2017 I bought myself a 3d printer in order to make a replacement set of War Machine armour. I have Masked Rider’s fibreglass set, but that bad boy weighs about 40kg all in, so isn’t the best for wearing. I bought the Do3D files and set to work. By Feb 2018 I’d done most of the...

Help with molding & casting some shins.

Hi all. I’m trying to recreate the shin guards from Deadpool 2 I’ve made some foam masters, did a brush on mold, presses clay into it, resculpted them and then cast them in resin to smooth/finish. I now need to mold them and cast them in rigid foam. I tired using another brush on...

Just to say I went with molding the gun and the end piece separately. Had some issues with air bubbles but getting there

    Silicone Molding help

Actually that’s a good plan. Mold the metal plate, cast them and attach to each gun after they’ve been cast

    Silicone Molding help

I think so. I’m finding my brain isn’t good at thinking 3 dimensionally when it comes to molds. Have already wasted a whole gallon unit of Mold Max on molds that went wrong :(

    Silicone Molding help

I’ve had a metal plate, cut to size and then hand engraved. That’s going to be added to the end and then blended in.

    Silicone Molding help

Hiya, I am in the process of creating a replica of Deadpool’s Desert Eagles from DP2 I am creating a master, which I’m then going to mold and cold cast. As I’m new to all this I’ve watched numerous tutorials on YouTube and most seem to do a 2 part mold. It would seem logical to do this...
