Adam 12 police AMC Matador 1/14 scale radio control

That's an awesome story! I'm amazed you were able to make that happen. I hope he knew how much that ment to your son. With the reruns we got, i was always really into Dragnet and Highway Patrol. So at this point i had a runner on a 6 ch radio, without many features yet. I got the headlights...

TWD Daryl Dixon Crossbow Build (cardboard)

wow, that looks great! I wasn't sure what I expected out of cardboard crossbow, but I'm amazed. is it going to get cables and string, or would that make it too realistic in the eyes of police? how rigid do you want it? cheapest option would be a couple passes of clear coat paint, should...

    Indiana Jones Sankara Stones Help?

You *might* be able to damage foam it if you mix WAY too hot, but it would usually overcure it and cause cracks and ruin the bondo too. Just aim for mixed product to be same pink as their mix paddles. I've had good luck with it on green floral foam, insulation board foam, and packing styrofoam.

    Indiana Jones Sankara Stones Help?

A skim coat of Bondo (automotive body filler) or Glazing/Spot Putty (if acts somewhere between bondo and a high build primer) over the foam core, and more sanding would give you a smooth hard paintable surface. If you work its surface with something like a brush or bag right before it cures you...

New Ecto 1 for the next movie

I don't love the new Ecto 1. But at least it only needs: suspension work, shocks, brake disks, brake pads, brake linings, steering box, transmission, Rear end, new rings, muffler, and some wiring... Got it for a steal! The big stupid yellow gumball light is probably a new city regulation...

Need help - fibreglass is dry, but not hard

without knowing what type resin that is, I'd try warming a test piece of it to around 150-200F to see if it cures, with heatgun or oven. I'd be very careful not to go too hot or it could overcure and trash the piece. Could have just been a bad batch from the factory too.
