I'm in for 4 yards or so depending on price. Definitely a yard for my patch display as well at least.

Tomenosuke blaster assembly kit tips and tricks, help the new builders

I got mine all assembled. There is some break through on the cylinder cover right where the two cap screws hold it to the cylinder bracket. Is this normal or should I seek a replacement from Tomenosuke? Thanks!

My Tomenosuke Blade Runner 2049 build

Anyone have issues with the cylinder not fitting easily? I can't get mine to slide in, it seems to be hitting the plate inside the frame that is held in with two screws which the firing pin goes through. Also I had some break through on the cylinder cover right where the two cap screws hold it...

Awesome! I am working my way up the sides as well and was debating on what to make the side panels from. Looks like wood works pretty well! You really pulled off all the contouring! I'll see if I can get those labels printed and sent out to you since you are getting close!

Nice ordinance Baz! Got more panels and painting done on mine plus finalizing of my seat arrangement: I plan to put an LED strip under the hood above the instrument panel. This picture shows the seat to joystick arrangement. It is still a reach and after watching a scene in BSG I could...

Here is the seat box so far. The seat has a forward tilt of about 1.5" (3.6cm) in the back mounting position which makes it a closer reach to the joystick. I also drilled some 3" lightening holes which will also allow the subwoofer to sound better. I have bass shakers mounted on the seat as...

Thanks! I bought a Brother PC compatible label printer which can print white on clear just for this project. It does graphics and any font.

I made some progress over the last few days on mine: It turns out I forgot to put one of the switches in on the left! I am still trying to optimize the seat height, location and angle to be usable while still looking like the original. I am not sure the actual one was very ergonomic! I...

    Hal 9000 Panel

Awesome job so far! What if you put a large diffuser in front of the LED to make it larger, this could be a round plastic piece that was scuffed with fine sandpaper. That would give you a larger appearing spot to start with, it would also be brighter in the center, but maybe the lens would do...

Good point about cutting the head rest. The joystick is a bit of a reach for me with the seat back as far as it appears to be, I wonder if it has some forward tilt to it. The back of the ejection seat part is another unknown as I haven't seen good documentation of that.

Looks awesome! I am remounting my seat higher which seems to work out better, have you figured out what the box it sits on should look like and the dimensions? I am thinking it fits between the inner rails on the floor and runs from the front of the seat to the back (at least rear mounting...

Looking great! Amazing progress so what angles did you come up with for the panels? You are way ahead of me now! Will you have functioning joysticks?

I am amazed at your progress! Sleep much? I guess my comments didn't work. Have you worked out all the cockpit internal dimensions yet? I am trying to figure out the angle on the main panel. As seen in this picture. I went with 1" back at the top and the panel is 14" high. It doesn't seem...

Hi Baz, I put a couple comments on your site. I started the cockpit earlier this year and have some info here: https://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=275064
