Tan colored means probably military; Tamiya or Bandai or Nichimo. And there's something so familiar about it...

"Studio Scale" was coined virtually at the beginning. No one really thought out the implications of what it means at the time. It was just a term used to tag what we were doing. We just wanted to recreate the filming miniatures as they were, and only a little later on did we realized they built...

I've been working on one. Risking even mentioning it, I guess. Don't want to jinx it. Anyone who's interested - please be patient. Lots of things to figure out. But I've made a ton of progress.

Tried any local plastics places? They sell 4x8 sheets in various thicknesses, and will cut them down to size to fit in your car. Much cheaper than sheets packaged for hobby purposes.

Aside from the pattern sheets (and maybe those soon too), these companies will not be able to compete with 3D printing. So just a heads-up on that too.

Ah! Okay, it's just a product. I was thinking maybe it's some kind of additive to regular casting resin. Thank you!
