Getting within spitting distance of finishing up.

I ordered the stencil version of the transfers. Here's my first attempt, and I'm very pleased. One little bit of paint came off with the stencil, but nothing I'm too concerned about given that I'm going to weather and distress the model after the paint's finished.

Received - they look AWESOME! I can't wait to get started with the finishing up of my kit!

For anyone working on this kit in the US - the guide holes in the kit are 8mm wide. I had a hard time finding a metric rod for a decent price, but I found a 5/16" threaded stainless steel rod at Home Depot that fits the holes pretty well.

Are you pinning the parts? I am planning on pinning the larger assemblies together with 1/4 brass rod and the small tubes with either 3mm brass rod or pieces of wire coat hanger, whichever works best.

Good news! Just finished my last project and am raring to go on this.
