Star Wars FS: 1916 Hales MK2 Rifle Grenade with Windvane

Hey Tom, Quick question: can the curving neck be replaced with one of Roman's? Is the threading compatible on either end of the grenade body? Thanks!

Magic of Myth ( MoM ) Luke RotJ Hero ( cave build ) lightsaber research, images, reference, & collaborative model builder's discussion.

As I recall, quickly comparing mine to the Frankenprint the biggest differences were the emitter flange thickness and the nipple height. Both were bigger on the Nicksdad than on the print. The rest aligned pretty well.

New Elstree Studio documentary with discarded Graflex.

In my experience, from the ones I've bought, this is the best: Rebelscum eStore And this one, from propsplus on eBay is second: Star Wars Luke Obi Vader Saber Activator Switch Replica Ti19 Ti20 Exactra Calc | eBay Both need to be shaved, beveled, or the like to fit into a clamp. The Rebel...

Have you considered beveled sides, as we see it on both the Elsetree Graflex and the ESB/RotJ Vader MPP?

    Tony Stark Arc Reactor Question

I'm not sure. There's a frame that looks like the plug is in profile -- -- with the plugs extending out beyond everything else. My interpretation is there was a metal ring on the black plastic part that's gone missing, but it looks like it didn't shroud the pins.

    Tony Stark Arc Reactor Question

Interesting. Thanks for that! (I confess my copy of the movie has gone missing. I hope to pick another copy up today.) It seems the idea it should be taken off comes from these two photos, which I'm told are from the prop being auctioned?

    Tony Stark Arc Reactor Question

I'm also building a Mark 1 from one of these Mando/Wish kits. Any advice on removing the metal cover from this plug? (Or am I mistaken that it would be more accurate without it?) Thanks!

Limited Run Darth Maul TPM screen accurate lightsaber prop

Nice. I could be mistaken, but that doesn't seem to be in the same place as the one in the photo I posted.

Limited Run Darth Maul TPM screen accurate lightsaber prop

There have been a few reference photos posted. I shared one on page 18 -- Limited Run - Darth Maul TPM screen accurate lightsaber prop -- that seems to have the covertec on the underside. It isn't exactly opposite the buttons (which is no surprise, since the buttons themselves aren't aligned)...

I was just wondering that myself. Parfaitelumiere posted this, saying it was an original, and it looks to have the knob on the near end.

If the emitters and resin body parts have smooth interfaces and everything is held together by pressure, you should be able to twist the two halves into alignment after assembly.

The Rise of Skywalker: Episode IX Graflex

Yeah, what I assumed I would/should see was not what I saw doing more careful comparisons.

The Rise of Skywalker: Episode IX Graflex

At the risk of being a party pooper, Roman's Gen2 bulb clamp flanges have very distinctive sharp corners and I'm not seeing that in any of these shots. I would expect to see evidence of it in this frame in particular. (Edit: Or, on reexamination, maybe I am? Interesting.)
