Your weathering is on point. I built this fantastic kit years ago but never finished the diorama for it. Always like seeing what other modelers do with their paint schemes and yours did not disappoint.

I hoped it works. Here are some more parts coming off the printer. Wish me luck.

Unfortunately all the parts are solid and overall it will weigh a ton. I plan on molding the finished pieces and cast to make it lighter. So I will only need the glued pieces to hold up through the molding process.

Oh, it’s not glued together yet so I might try the pins.

I don’t think super glue will hold this thing together. Probably will go with 5 min epoxy for a stronger bond.

Here are some more parts cleaned up and primed. The front chest piece was cut up into 5 parts.

I’ve started the process of printing the digital Ra out and I had to scale it down a bit to fit the mask I have. I had to slice the files to over 30 pieces to be able to print on my midsized resin printer. My maximum build height is around 8.5 inches and takes 24 hrs for each run. Here are...

You are correct! I might have to look into 3d printing this thing out. The result would be fantastic.

Here’s Ra! It’s just the face but I had started to build/ sculpt the rest of his mask. I ran out of steam but will get back to it one day.

Here’s a pic I found on the net as reference. Looks like I could use a bit more patina color around the jaw line.
