    Darkest Dungeon Bounty Hunter.

Did you put a clear coat later on first? I would put a gloss or matte coat on before working a lot with it to protect. Also tends to make any costume pieces pop in a great way.

Good looking start. You should start a thread for your costume. The metal already looks good, probably don't want it too shiny. The one with all the rust seems way overdone, but I think you should try to get more of a stained look from the rust, and shift the hue yellow/browner.

    Sweeney Todd cosplay

Made the belt and holster from leather. Sewed some hair extensions into the wig. It's gonna need a lot of bobby pins.

Pants and razor arrived! Here's a progress shot. All that's left to figure out is the belt.

    Sweeney Todd cosplay

-----------------------------EDIT----------------------------- Costume's finished! All right I'm gonna jump into this WIP writeup half way through completing the costume so bear with the long post. Sweeney Todd is my favorite musical (Rocky Horror taking first) so this Halloween I'll be...

    It's Always Sunny Hornet Box

I was working on my costume while watching It's Always Sunny and I thought it would be hilarious to recreate Charlie's Hornet box from S05E05. I happened to have all the materials handy. I know its pretty low effort (maybe even ****post) but I thought it was hilarious and wanted to share.

    Nux Mad Max Cosplay.

First night of the 2016 Comicpalooza I came up with a second costume cause I didn't feel like going plainclothes the second day. So I shaved my full head of hair, went out a bought a chain, pair of boots, and pair of cargo pants and boom! Nux cosplay! (if anyone knows how to rotate an image in a...

Shut up, crime! Crimson Bolt cosplay

Hadn't gotten around to posting this from this year's Comicpalooza. A film I absolutely love is the movie "Super" with Rainn Wilson and Elen Page. Rainn's character makes himself terribly crafted superhero costume and fights crime as the Crimson Bolt. It was a great challenge to try for screen...

Democracy is Non-Negotiabe! Liberty Prime cosplay.

RESURRECTION! So Fallout 4 is totally awesome. The return of Liberty Prime with all new HD models and textures had me excited to dig this project back up. I've decided it's best to build a stilt frame from scratch to be sturdier and more in line with LP's proportions. Woods to heavy, PVC is too...

    Skyrim Briarheart

Surprise! It's done. Was busy doing another costume for Halloween so I sped through the build in the first half of November to wear at The Texas Renaissance Fair's Barbarian weekend. Here's some WIP pictures. And the final product. The costume was a huge hit at the fair. Especially the...

    Skyrim Briarheart

This is my first project with molding and I think a skyrim briarheart would be cool to try. Gonna start with the actual briarheart. I made the chest hole from clay and plastered it for a mold. Tomorrow I'll brush it with latex and see if I can get a good result. EDIT: Final Costume...

    Mike Mignola comics Hellboy costume.

Shipped it off a while ago but I just wanted to share how the lenses turned out. I used the heat gun to form plastic from a bright orange measuring triangle. I'm pretty happy with the result.

    Mike Mignola comics Hellboy costume.

Yep it's all made from EVA floor mats. I used a heat gun to mold and shape them, and hot glue to glue em together. I used a woodburning knife to cut the foam up, and a dremel with various bits for detailing. The hair was done with thin craft foam. Everything was covered in plastidip paint, a...
