Cannot help you on the care of the skin. But using 2 parts clear epoxy resin brushed on and aloud to dry over right will harden the piece significantly. The more layers the harder it becomes. I used this on my P2 armor and it caused no damage what so ever. It also makes the armor super super...

In case anyone was wondering after experimenting with different methods found that painting clear 2 part epoxy resin hardend the latex without harming it. Happy with the result.

I am a huge fan of the steampunk style. One of the major reasons for like the character Kroenen from Hellboy. I love the design of this bio helmet. Would love to own one if it ever makes it from paper to the real world. Awesome concept Predatrhuntr!!!! :)

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am working very hard on this piece and putting in many hours to make sure it is a great display piece. Still much work to be done this being a life size piece requires lots of time. Glad its paying off.

I wound up painting the armor myself. Studied lots of photos for reference. I started out by mixing gloss black air brush paint with pro's aide for the base coat. I then spray painted the armor gold and covered that with a layer of pro's aide. Next I added weathering effects using Tamiya Smoke...
