    Chronicle Collectibles JP Cryocan

I understand. Out of curiousity was your Cryocan replica based on the one we recently saw in AMC Citywalk? The one with less provenence? Or a different screen-used Cryocan prop again?

Thanks for clearing that up Rylo! Are you working on this particular run of replicas? Would love to see this hero prop too - I'm hoping nearer the time we can see how close Chronicle's replica comes to the original piece.

    Chronicle Collectibles JP Cryocan

Entirely possible - I thought the appearance of the AMC prop and their claim to now possess the hero prop are interestingly close chronologically. I guess if you were the private collector you'd have to be convinced to allow them to borrow it to match? That could explain the time gap. And...

    Chronicle Collectibles JP Cryocan

One detail present on the prop displayed at AMC/Universal Citywalk, which we can assume is the same cryocan prop. The concave bottom section of the original can was welded/glued back on to the aluminium machined piece. I've seen replicas surfacing where the concave bottom is machined in...

I document every piece of production history I own/find. Over time it will belong to the people anyway - we are but custodians of film history destined for museums hundreds of years down the line, if they are not destroyed already. So documenting/sharing them is the key to perpetuating them too.

Mirror film & prop display cabinet

Hi all Sorry if this is a bit off-topic, but I imagine you all display your favourite props unless you are keeping it out of sunlight (UV protection recommended). I read that one-way reflective mirror film (that you use on windows for privacy) keeps out 80% of UV radiation. I also read that...

3D printed Robocop suit 1987 build- COMPLETE

I can wholeheartedly understand that - its your hero suit! Now I wonder if you could take vac forms or mold and slush cast it to make your wearable lightweight version! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

3D printed Robocop suit 1987 build- COMPLETE

Wow. The build quality is exceptional. Its like a production piece. What is the mobility like in the suit? Will you be wearing it to events or will this be purely for display now? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Nightvision Goggles working replica from Jurassic Park

Best bet is Ebay but there is a bit of a drought of them right now. Next best is Etsy but they tend to be more expensive. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Jurassic Park - vibrating glass of water

Hi all, Some of you may know me from my youTube channel Jurassic Collectables. I just completed new build - a working replica of the glass of water from Jurassic, complete with impact tremors! Happy to answer any questions regarding the build here. https://youtu.be/Qrx3RHi-dAo Thanks...

Nightvision Goggles working replica from Jurassic Park

Funnily enough Chronicle acquired the konica lens and publicised the fact weeks after I released my info. They had access to the original prop but I dont believe they'd IDed the lenses and the C&K switches up until that point - why bother as long as it looks the same right? If you have 3D...

    Jurassic Park Can Shape

Great job! I have to add I wouldn't dream of paying anything over $30 for an accurately shaped can. Mine were $13! I just kept looking until I found one at a reasonable price.

    Jurassic Park Can Shape

I have to thank Rylo for the handful of cans I own. They are beautiful. For me with every replica prop its an illusion. But it comes down to a few key attributes: 1) Form - how precisely does it match the prop in terms of shape. If its idealized or edited does it compromise accuracy? If so...
