Things you're tired of seeing in movies

What's worse is seeing someone do it in real life. (Yes. She was generally insufferably histrionic as you can imagine.)

anyone else go through life as if the Star Trek:Enterprise Finale isn't real

Why not? I'm going through life with TOS, TMP and WOK as the only real canon.

    Star Wars Outlaws (video game)

If the Jabba mission isn't locked behind a paywall then I feel bad about getting suckered by fake news. Or maybe he's just in cutscenes of the core game. Then again, it's Ubisoft.

    Star Wars Outlaws (video game)

Maybe not uncommon, but no less repugnant. Remember when DLC meant additional materials on top of a complete game experience? It just seems wrong to lock the Jabba mission behind a paywall while featuring Jabba in the promotional materials and is the highpoint of the trailer. That's what makes...

    Star Wars Outlaws (video game)

DLC locked behind a paywall at launch tells me all I need to know.

What happened to creativity in futuristic movie fire arms design? Pics inside.

What Star Wars showed us in 1977 was that, even in sci-fi, firearms should have a sense of kinetic impact. Everyone wanted a phaser until they saw Star Wars. It's cooler to imagine shooting back as blaster bolts explode around you than watching random boulders vanish from phaser shots. In...

Rest In Peace, M. Emmet Walsh

Remembered also for his unforgettable part in the Coen brother's first film, Blood Simple. Somehow he makes the opening monologue iconic and unforgettable, for me at least. It's a subtle and brilliant delivery. Rest in Peace.

Star Wars The Acolyte (tv series)

I don't think you understood what I said about ROTJ.

Star Wars The Acolyte (tv series)

I believe that was implicit in my first sentence.

Star Wars The Acolyte (tv series)

I disagree. No it isn't. No they weren't. ANH and ESB were both very human-centric. It was only with ROTJ when it all turned into a muppet-fest for shameless merchandising. "Aliens" work better as background and supporting characters because you simply can't act worth a damn with a giant...
