I have not had luck finding a metallic fabric paint that doesn't look like children's glitter. Does anyone have a lead for where one might buy that?

Also, I've been testing various products for dying the fabric. I was having trouble reaching a black enough black on a cheaper piece of fabric I found, so I'm playing with fabric paints and leather dyes. I think the "coating" could possibly be one of these or these could be used to replicate...

The sheen in the pictures make it appear like a rough wicker, but that is not how it appeared in person. It is a medium soft/stiff poly with a sheen.

I've been hunting around the Denver area and found this interesting fabric sample to add to the mix.
