    It's actually a pretty nice little kit, any issues I had stemmed from lighting it. the landing gear is kinda naff, but the kit comes with the option of open or closed landing gear doors. Would I buy it again? Yup!

    I think I used the 1/12 radiator grille for mine, New!! 各商品 :: ATS-7907 1/12 ラジエター パネル I started mine some 8-10 years ago though, finally finished it what, three years ago!

    Installing the fiber optics is pretty straightforward, drill a hole slightly larger than the fiber itself, insert the fiber leaving a 5-10mm tail on the outside of the hull and then use a daub of white / carpenters glue to set the strand in place.     I tried to mount them flush to the outside of the hull. Cut the opening, then glued a styrene ledge so the radiator strip would have something to rest up against while the CA glue set up

    tweezers and Tamiya ultra thin cement. sometimes I'd glue a larger chip in place and trim it down after the glue had set
