Yep the Orange tip one is Gen2.

Some people have been reporting connectivity problem with the wand (like turning it on would shutdown the pack and such), and the V-Hook male/female for that wand to be attached to the pack being wiggly (or even not work at all). I have Gen 2 Wand though, maybe that's why it's fine. Apparently...

Just received the wand. Gotta say I'm one of the happy few with no connectivity issues, and the hook works great. I'm a happy 30+ kids right now, it's the best thing ever. Let's go with more mods.

Still haven't got the wand but in case I have the problem, do you have a ref for a proper v hook? (I should receive it on thursday) Also, does anyone had success switching hose (and ref for a good one)? The one that comes with the pack is super stiff, I bet it's gonna be an issue.

Oh total scratch built. It's pretty easy stuff, using prewired 3mm led, simple soldering, and heat shrink tube. I might add a potentiometer cause the leds are way too bright.
