A really well made paintjob, the black lines look very clean and frame the forehead pattern nicely. And those dreadbeads are gorgeous! I can only echo what others have said; beautiful work!
Sadly, this paint job no longer exists. :( After everything was done I notice the paint did not stick good enough and that you could scrape it off. So I had to start over and buy new primers and such, really making sure that it would stick this time. It seemed to work the first time (with the...
December 2013?! That was the last time I posted here?! Jeeeeez...
Sorry for that. :( I've been feeling up and down for a long time and to make a long story short - I have not been drawing much due to feeling down, neither have I had the energy to update my topics or read any of you fine members...
Love the artwork! What do you mean you didn't do the Elder justice? He looks terrific! The shades, shadows and highlights work great together, especially on Trackers shoulder armour.
How are your other works coming along? :)
I believe that you should make armour that looks like it makes sense to the character that you have in mind. If the first thing an audience sees is boobs, when you want them to be stunned by a badass predator - then you're heading at the wrong direction. I'm not saying a character can't be...
Nice update! I like the layers on the armoured bead. Have you been thinking of doing some beads that will cover the dread tip completely? Think P2 elder, but bigger/longer and more "stuff" to them (his are plain and on the very tip).
It's fun seeing your drawings again, I missed them! I really like the compact shape of the head, kind of makes him look young. :)
So he is a like a scavenger, taking what he needs and whatever he can use?
This looks great! He looks both terrified and disgusted at the same time with his facial expression which fits the scenario perfectly. I really like the smaller details with the stitches and wrinkles. Will you take some closer photos of the bust when its all finished? What did you make the teeth...
Yup, that's the monster allright! It is kind of like Frankenstein operated away the top of the creatures skull, maybe threw in a new brain and put on a different scalp because he misplaced the other one. :unsure
I like where you are going with the design, it is not too much like the iconic...
