I've always associated acrylic with paint. If that's the type of plastic that's used for display cases it'll definitely work. Guess I was searching with the wrong word.

I want to buy transparent ABS plastic to build a display case but all I can find is paper thin plastic. Anyone know where I can buy a 1/4 inch transparent thick sheets?

It's alright. I think I got it sorted out. Used small amounts of bondo and welded the rest.

Thanks for the video. I'm very much a visual person. I've been researching what method to use to fuse the pieces together (epoxy or weld). Unfortunately, I threw out any additional scraps that came with the BS like the head strap.
